THROWING IN THE TOWEL

TO WIN TAKES A COMPLETE COMMITMENT OF MIND AND BODY.
WHEN YOU CAN'T MAKE THAT COMMITMENT, THEY DON'T CALL YOU A CHAMPION
I hereby announce my retirement in the sport of powerlifting - benchpress
I have had too many injuries these past years. Injuries that has ended up in 7 surgeries since 2007.
I am not 19 anymore, and the tool I was so lucky to be born with, my body, is saying NO.
There is no more drive left, no more energy or passion. You have to have passion to be the best.
The best is the only place I want to be. If I can’t be one of the best, then farewell.
2nd place will always be 1st loser!!
This is not a choice I made on my own. The guy who assaulted me back in February helped me with that one. So here I am, in this unknown world where my performance can no longer do the speaking for me.

This is happiness!! Me with my friend and the person who made me into a 4xWorld Bench Press Champion, Charles Glass

Champion then, Champion now,
Always the Champion. No need to prove it. You proved that long ago.
